We have 5 cats available for adoption.

The Objectives of Cats Protection

1. Homing - finding good homes for cats in need

2. Neutering - support and encouraging the neutering of cats

3. Information - improving people's understanding ofs cats and their care

We have some sad news to report. Kay Osmond died on the 29th August 2009.
Kay was this branches first coordinator and supported the branch for many years.

Her funeral is on Friday 11 September 2009 at 11 am

The branch is sending a blue and yellow teardrop display to the funeral with the
following message:

To Our Dear Kay
For all your hard work for cat welfare and Bexley Cats Protection.
We shall miss you.
Love from all your CP friends.

If you can spare some time each month then we can probably find something for you to do that will help the branch.

We do have the need for several specific jobs: Help Needed

We now have a Web Shop. This is a collection of online retailers that give us a commision on most items purchased. We get on average 2 Pounds on every transaction. There are over 80 shops there including many high street names. The money comes from the shop so it does not cost you anything more than from their website - its just that we get a donation.

Homing Statistics

Last year we rehomed 525 cats and kittens.
We have approximately 30 cats in care at any one time, and we operate a waiting list
for any cats that we may not be able to take in immediately.
